People often hear me say or tweet, "I'm So Hip Hop" and I don't think most of em' understand what I mean. They probably think I'm just talking sh*t, BUT I'm so entrenched in this genre of music, I grew up on it and IN IT, because I'm friends with a lot of the people that helped make it what it is.
There's so much emphasis put on the artists and not that much on the DJ's. The DJ's are a VERY IMPORTANT part of this game, HIP HOP, RAP and R&B could not and will not exist without the DJ. As a result of this strong belief that I have, I K.I.M present to you Shuddup.com's… Continue reading (video)Respect The DJ Series: Tony Neal The CORE DJ Edition Part 1 (contains profanity)(video) Exclusive Interview K.I.M and KRAVE
K.I.M Interview Krave from shudduptv on Vimeo. Under the guidance of Upfront Megatainment CEO Devyne Stephens, all- female trio KRAVE is poised to take the music world by storm in a way not evidenced since chart topping TLC. Composed of three equally talented, ambitious and driven young ladies, KRAVE boasts no leader, unlike most female groups. Chanel Ross, Jasmine “Jazzy” Kearse, and Shanquilla “Shan Q” Robinson, can each hold their own in the studio or on stage. The mutual respect and admiration each has for the others is evident, and will provide them with the longevity. “We are three individuals that are linked. We’ve created this chain that no one else can break or imitate”, says youngest member Jazzy. That energy is prevalent in the studio and their live… Continue reading (video) Exclusive Interview K.I.M and KRAVE***Exclusive***KeKe Wyatt and K.I.M

I have no problem helping to promote someone that I think is talented or that I agree with or just feel that they have something that needs to be heard by people but I'm not with any self-serving agendas, so yes you can talk about your upcoming projects etc. BUT you have to be willing… Continue reading ***Exclusive***KeKe Wyatt and K.I.M(video) 1st Annual KIMmy Awards

I knew it wouldn't last when I saw the 1st episode but i didn't think that it'd fall from NBC to TNT but damn Southland has landed on it's feet.
I really don't understand what NBC was thinking when they tried to replace ER (The award winning show) with Southland. I like Regina King but frankly those were very big shoes to fill and the plot and story line of the characters on Southland is pretty blah to me.
Anyway, I hope it works out for Regina's sake cus' I like to see a sister getting a check! On the other hand that kid from the O.C. is NOT BELIEVABLE as a police officer, he might need to be on a CW… Continue reading Southland Takes A FallMase Bum-rushes Puff Live On Air With Release Papers!!! Man I told yall I had this footage but let me give yall the back story on what went down.
I was doing the V103 Hip Hop Takeover in Atlanta for the BET Hip Hop Awards on October 9th and there were tons of artists scheduled to come through. I had a camera man there so I could get drops and/or interviews for the site. While Puff was there, I was in the hallway talking to someone and saw Mase through the glass.
The receptionist wasn't at her desk so I opened the door for him, I was shocked to see him, so I'm like "what's this a BadBoy reunion or some sh*t" Mase was like naw Kim I came up here… Continue reading Mase Bum-rushes Puff Live On Air With Release Papers!!! It seems to me that we are stuck in a "name brand" mentality whether it's clothes, cars, music, artists, producers, etc. I'm so sure of myself that I will straight rock a Target outfit if I like it with some Manolo Blahnik shoes and look at the chick in the Gucci unphazed cus' I'm fly like that.
On the other hand you have… Continue reading On The Come Up - Real Talk With Blac Elvis
