$ And Divorce

I meant to post this blog last week but I forgot so here we go……
While watching the RHOC Lynne’s family were evicted from their home. Now unfortunately this is no big deal due to the situation the economy is in a lot of people are experiencing this. The thing that irked me beyond belief was the way Lynne attacked her husband as if it’s all his fault and in typical Lynne fashion she played the “dumb” card like she really had no clue.
I do believe that the person who handles the finances can hide things from the other spouse, especially if that person doesn’t handle the money matters. BUT, how the heck could you not know that you were on the verge on being put out of your home?
I’ll play devil’s advocate and let’s say she had not 1 scintilla of a clue. She knew her husband’s business was drying up, she knew work was slow, she knew he was home more often, shouldn’t she have known to a) either ask some questions or in the very least b) slow down on the spending? I think she’s just as at fault as him and I’ll state the reasons below.
1. When you are RENTING a house, you DO NOT buy your teenage daughter a BMW as her 1st car, unless you got the hookup at the auction and paid the price of a Honda! This keeping up with the Jones’s ish is ridiculous!
2. When you get evicted from your home due to non-payment and your husband is at a hotel and you’re at your parent’s house, you DO NOT spend $1100 on a leather jacket. GTFOH!, Where they do that at? Oh yeah, I forgot, in Orange County. I don’t condone spousal abuse but I would slapped the sh*t out of her if I was her husband after she brought that coat.
3. If you’re having money problems WHY & HOW do you let your wife go out and get plastic surgery, which by the way did nothing for her, because in my opinion she looks WORSE!!!!
4. And, this has absolutely nothing to do with finances but when you let your teenage kids curse at you like they’re your homies and the camera doesn’t show you knocking their teeth out there mouths, I draw the line. There’s nothing REAL about you at least not in my Universe.
Aside from all this stuff I’ve just said for Lynne to be contemplating divorce because of this is crazy to me and in fact if I was her husband, I don’t care how much I loved her, she’s have to go! Him keeping the money situation away from her is a problem, it’s wrong, he should’ve communicated but it’s not a DIVORCEABLE offense in my book.
This show is just a 1 hour contradiction, but yes I still watch it, for entertainment purposes only cus’ aint sh*t real about the Real Housewives of Orange County.
