Faith
So this morning as I was driving in to a meeting the news reported that Haiti experienced another earthquake (after shock) of approximately 6 point something. I immediately sent out a tweet, “C’mon God! How much can 1 group of people take?”
Some of my followers (I really hate that follower stuff, sounds like I got people drinking kool-aid like Jim Jones or something) anyway, my tweeple started hitting me back saying, wow I can’t believe you tweeted that KIM but it’s so honest and I know other people are thinking the same thing.
I definitely without question believe in GOD but even the fiercest, radical believers have to question this stuff that’s happening in Haiti at some point. They say GOD is all seeing, knowing and powerful….. so why did this and is this CONTINUING to happen, how much more can these people handle? Oh yeah, I know the saying GOD will never give you more than you can handle but again, C’mon!
I probably will never know the reason GOD allows tragedies to happen such as the earthquake in Haiti, the Tsunami, child rapes, abuse and other crazy things of that nature. Why does is seem GOD always takes innocent people in things like random shootings, illnesses, carzy mishaps, etc. yet let the dirtiest, slime ball, robbing, killing, flea bag mofo have 9 lives and live forever.
Then there are things like the baby I told yall about last month that was born without a brain, not expected to live a couple of days but is still here 1 year later? That HAS TO BE GOD, right?
There are stories about my life and things I’ve experienced that I’ve made it through untouched and blessings I’ve received in my life that are clearly unexplainable! Go figure…..HAS TO BE GOD RIGHT?
I definitely believe in GOD, without a doubt but, I’m beginning to wonder is it possible to do so and lose or not have faith?
