Real Friends
So I’m sitting on this plane headed to an undisclosed location to meet up with my baby and hang out with my girlfriends. I admittedly only have 3 female friends, the rest of the people you see me with are just people I’m cool with, some more-so than others but I only got 3 REAL female friends.
So I called up 1 and was like, I’m coming to town, be there in a couple of hours, gonna’ meet up with my baby, do a little shopping and of course we gotta’ kick it. her response, cool and that’s it. Now, she knows who my baby is and does she ask me for anything “extra”, does she want to go to a spot or event or anything? Nope, she just wants to kick it with me, not to be “seen” somewhere.
I’ve had so-called friends that act funny but get especially “chummy” around special events, award shoes, etc. cus’ they want to go but act funny at other times. I swear I’m so sick of all the fakeness and BS that comes with some females.
Feels great knowing that I’m gonna’ hang out with a “real friend” and I may only see her once every few years and not every day, but I know without a shadow of doubt that’s my girl and she can get my last!
Moral of this post: Take a look around are your “friends” around for you or for what you can do for them.
