You Better Work Girl!!!!! – Monique Wins Award For Her Role In Precious

When I saw “Precious” it was kind of rough for me.  Where it goes without question Monique played the hell out of that part I had a problem with digesting Monique playing that part.  She played it to well!!!!!

But that’s when you know an actor did the damn thing, when you start looking at “them” differently as if it wasn’t a role they played.  The other person that had me like that was Clifton Powell when he played the child molesting step-father in “Woman Thou Art Loosed”.

Back to Monique, she won her 1st award for her portrayal in “Precious” at The Critics Choice Awards and I’m sure this is just the beginning of her winnings during this year’s award season.  Monique seems to be on a big rise this year and all I can say is, YOU BETTER WORK GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!
