K.I.M Says: When I was a kid I used to STAN for "Little House On The Prairie". Most of you will probably be like, okay, K.I.M's tripping with this post but I remember Mr. Ingall's best friend. Little House On The Prairie was the 1st family show I remember that dealt with real issues even though it was set many years ago.
On January 1 we reported that former football star and actor Merlin Olsen wassuing NBC Universal, NBC Studios, and 20th Century Fox for exposing him to asbestos over the years. Now comes word that Olsen has died of mesothelioma in California.
Olsen was someone who had successful careers in both sports and acting. TV drama… Continue reading Merlin Olsen Dead At 69Tribe Called Quest Documentary

I may be the only person who HASN'T seen "Avatar" but honestly that's a movie I'm gonna have to catch bootleg or on HBO 1 day when I have absolutely nothing to do and there is NOTHING else on...
It'll be a while before I see this movie I'm sure, because I'm always busy but anyway, who knew they're making a "Smurfs" movie? I never really watched cartoons but I LOVED the Smurfs and I've recently discovered that I may be related to them by dye. Lol, I'm sure yall are wondering what in the heck I'm talking about so let me explain.
I've been going through this hair dye thing and I had a mishap, I covered my hair with blue… Continue reading Blue People Are The New Rage In Hollywood! The Next Next Harry Potter….Incarceron

K.I.M Says: I haven't seen any of the Harry Potter movies but I know how some of yall are fanatical about that movie series. So next up to be the "next" Harry Potter movie is "Incarceron".
Fox 2000 has triumphed in a bidding war for Catherine Fisher's fantasy series about a dystopian prison future ruled by computers.
""Incarceron" tells the story of a young boy who lives in a prison that is a complete society; outside the prison, the world is stuck in the 17th century and run by computers. The boy comes into contact with the warden's daughter, who lives in her own sort of jail, and they find a key that can change everything."No talents have been attached yet… Continue reading The Next Next Harry Potter....IncarceronThe Boondocks Returns In May

K.I.M Says: I've never seen this show a day in my life but I know a lot of people who love it. It's been off the air for three years so the fact that it's returning has me a little interested. Is it that good or did the fans just complain that much? Either way check the story below.
It's been more than three years since'The Boondocks' invaded my TV, and now they are coming back for seconds. Well, thirds.
Aaron McGruder, creator of 'The Boondocks' comic strip and animated Adult Swim series, said on his Twitter page that the show will premiere its third season on May 2.
Last December, McGruder, who also serves as the show's… Continue reading The Boondocks Returns In May$ And Divorce

I meant to post this blog last week but I forgot so here we go......
While watching the RHOC Lynne's family were evicted from their home. Now unfortunately this is no big deal due to the situation the economy is in a lot of people are experiencing this. The thing that irked me beyond belief was the way Lynne attacked her husband as if it's all his fault and in typical Lynne fashion she played the "dumb" card like she really had no clue.
I do believe that the person who handles the finances can hide things from the other spouse, especially if that person doesn't handle the money matters. BUT, how the heck could you not know that you were on… Continue reading $ And DivorceOscar Watch: A Movie You Might Not Have Heard Of

K.I.M Says: Let me say 1st off, I haven't seen this movie but I am actively looking for it, it sounds very good and it's just been nominated for an Oscar so it should be rearing it's head in the US any day now. The fact that this lady actually used to put a potato in her vagina in hopes she wouldn't be raped by Peruvian soldiers is mind-boggling to me.
Check out the article below for the story on the movie.
Liliana Tenorio was just a few months old when her father was detained by the Peruvian military, then disappeared. At age 3, she saw soldiers rape… Continue reading Oscar Watch: A Movie You Might Not Have Heard Of

K.I.M Says: Did any of you see this movie? I did and it was pretty good, I didn't like the end and just in case you didn't see it I'm not going to give it away for you but check it out, Jill is getting better and better at acting.
Oh yeah, and she broke a Lifetime record with this movie.
R&B soul-singer turned actor, Jill Scott's Lifetime Movie Network debut in 'Sins of My Mother' earned the network its second highest rating for an original movie with 2.6 million viewers. Premiering last Sunday (Feb. 21) the movie was most popular among women ages in the 25-54 age range… Continue reading Jill Scott's "Sins Of The Mother"50 Will Be In A Size Extra Smedium Before It’s Over

K.I.M Says: In my opinion 50 Cent already went a little "there" when he lost that weight for his last role but NOW, he's going overboard. LOOK at the picture above, do you think he can spare 65lbs on his frame? I think he'll be looking like a straight crack-head before it's over.
Rapper/actor 50 Cent has announced that he will be dropping 65lbs. for an upcoming film role. The project, titled 'Things Fall Apart,' is being produced by 50's film company Cheetah Vision Films. 50 is set to play the lead character in the film, a high school football star who is stricken with cancer during his senior year. In order… Continue reading 50 Will Be In A Size Extra Smedium Before It's Over10 Of Black Hollywood’s Game Changing Movies

K.I.M Says: I came across this list of films that "supposedly" changed the game in Black Hollywood. Do you agree with their list?
'Lilies of the Field' (1963)
While it may not seem to be a "black" film on the surface (after all, most of the characters are German nuns), 'Lilies' marked the emergence of Sidney Poitier as a major star, and made the Bahamian native the first black star to win an Oscar for Best Actor. Even more importantly, his portrayal of Homer Smith was a rare instance (at the time) of a black man playing… Continue reading 10 Of Black Hollywood's Game Changing Movies
